After the Tibetan epic "Gesar" flowed into Tu ethnic group, two versions were produced, namely the Gansu native "Gesar" and the Qinghai native "Geseel".The Gansu Gesar is based on the version of Wang Yongfu, which is generally spread in Tianzhu Tibetan Autonomous County. The content of the story is a combination of verse and essay.Firstly the verse is sung in Tibetan, then the Tu language is used to explain the verse part The process of interpretation is not only a simple narrative, but also added a regional culture with its own ethnic characteristics, which is a further embellishment.Qinghai Geseel is mainly distributed in the Mutual Autonomous County of Qinghai Province. It is based on the version of Guanbuxijia, and the story is in the form of verse. This version was first discovered in East Mulahoniki,Weiyuan Town,Qinghai Huzhu Autonomous County. In this article the author will use the four characteristics of integrity, spanning, representativeness and typicality in comparative culturology to conduct a more comprehensive and comparative study from the aspects of version, plot, birth of characters, folk customs and religious beliefs.
