The Quantitative Style Of Yan Ge’s Novels

The quantitative style,which appeared in the 20 ’s,is a branch of computational linguistics and plays an important role in the identification of text style.Yan Ge,as one of the most influential "the Post-80 s generation" writers,has important research value in his novels.Therefore,this article we try to use the method of quantitative style to carry on the statistics and the analysis to the Yan Ge novel,first quantitatively the statistical re-analysis,in order to objectively show its language style.The article is divided into six parts:The first part briefly introduces Yan Ge and his novels,as well as the significance of the research on her works,and then introduces the research status of metrology style and Yan Ge works and the research methods used in this paper.The second part is the establishment of corpus,which is divided into: the choice of corpus,the design of corpus,the processing of corpus.In this paper,10 novels of Yan Ge have been selected as the research object,each of which is used as a corpus to build 10 corpus,so that we can more clearly analyze the characteristics of style changes in her works.The third part and the Part IV are the main part of the thesis.The third part mainly analyzes the language style of Yan Ge novels from the lexical level.Mainly from the vocabulary of the written language and oral style to analyze.The vocabulary of written language includes ancient words and idioms,and the vocabulary of spoken style includes square words,idioms,hysteria and colloquial expressions.The Part IV mainly analyzes the language style of Yan Ge novels from the sentence level.Mainly from three aspects of the use of modal words,the length of sentences and the characteristics of sentence patterns to analyze.The fifth part,by exploring the reasons for the formation of the language style of Yan Ge novels,this paper mainly analyzes the author’s character and life course from two aspects,and probes into the deep reasons for the formation of the language style of Yan Ge novels.The last part of the conclusion,through the previous quantitative statistics and analysis,summed up the Yan Ge works in the early stages of creation,transition period and maturity of three stages of language style characteristics.
