The Research Of Fang Xu

Fang Xu(1852-1940),the character Hezhai,the evening crane,and the crane peer,is a native of Tongcheng,Anhui Province(Tongcheng,Anhui Province today).He was born in the Fang family of Tongcheng.He was an honest and upright official,attached great importance to culture and education,and went to Sichuan to study as an envoy.After the Revolution of 1911,he lived in seclusion in Chengdu and became one of the "five elders and seven sages" in Shuzhong.The full text is divided into four parts:The first part is about Fang Xu's family background and life.Through textual research,we know that Fang Xu belongs to the seven rooms of Fang's family in Tongcheng.By sorting out the lineage of Fang Xu's direct ancestors and three generations,we can know that there were 31 people of Wugong origin in Fang's family in Qing Dynasty,including 45 people,21 people of Jinshi or Gongshi origin.Among them,Fang Xu's father and brother are all Jinshi,Fang Xu is Bagong.This article combs all kinds of names of Fang Xu,such as Hezhai,Hezhai,Hefei,Hefei,Hefei,Helao,and Huaxuli in his early years.This paper examines his life and death years and life experiences.He was born in 1852 and died in 1940.This article divides his 89 years of life into three periods: before entering Shu(1852-1893),after entering Sichuan as an official(1894-1911),and after the Republic of China(1912-1940),and examines Fang Xu's main activities in each period.The second part examines Fang Xu's friendship.Fang Xu has a wide range of travels and contacts in his life.Focusing on the communication between Fang Xu and Ni Wenwei,Yang Baosheng,Xiliang,Lin Sijin,Xing Jinsheng,Gu Yunruo and Jiang Shuyan,these people affected Fang Xu's life trajectory and poetry creation.The third part examines Fang Xu's writings.Through textual research,it can be seen that Fang Xu's works are rich.There are two editions of Hezhai Poetry,three editions of Pengzhou Chronicle and one edition of School Starting in Prefectures and Counties.Finally,their characteristics and influences are analyzed.part examines FangXu's writings.Through textual research,it can be seen that Fang Xu's works are rich.There are two editions of Hezhai Poetry,three editions of Pengzhou Chronicle and one edition of School Starting in Prefectures and Counties.Finally,their characteristics and influences are analyzed.The fourth part studies Xu's poetry.Fang Xu's poems are divided into four categories according to their contents: Jiyou,Yonghuai,Friendship and Current Affairs.The artistic characteristics of Fang Xu's poems are summarized,which include a wide range of subjects,ancient style of poetry in Wei and Jin Dynasties,good use of allusions,coexistence of freshness,plainness and heroism,abundant emotion,imitation of Du's poems,and the mentality of the adherents.
