The research takes the MTCSOL in Northwest Normal University as the research object and focus on investigating the MTCSOL's specialty identity in NWNU.A questionnaire on Chinese international education specialty identity compiled by Shen Yingmei from Yunnan Normal University is adopted to investigate 88 MTCSOLs from school of international cultural exchange in NWNU and it aims to answer four study questions: What's the level of specialty identity of MTCSOL in our university? Whether the students' individual information shows obvious differences in specialty identity? What is the major factors influencing the specialty identity of MTCSOL in NWNU? Whether there is a change in specialty identity among students in grade1,grade 2 and grade 3?In order to provide qualitative assistance for quantitative questionnaire,four questions are listed to interview which is according to literatures and analyzing previous conclusion.After analyzing the questionnaire data and interview text,the conclusions go as follows:1.The mean value of professional identity of Chinese language international education professional master in our school is higher than the mean value in descriptive statistics,which is slightly higher than the mean value.2.There are significant differences in major identity of MTCSOL in our university in terms of teaching conditions,employment prospects,reasons for choosing postgraduate study and other factors.There are slight differences in professional course scores,place of origin,personality,whether there is teaching experience abroad and other factors.There is no significant difference in gender,grade,undergraduate degree whether Chinese international education major,arts and sciences and other factors.3.There is a significant correlation between professional identity of master of Chinese language international education and employment prospect,external support and external scenario of professional practice.Further linear regression analysis shows that all of the three have a positive influence on professional identity.Based on the analysis results,the author lists advises from the perspective of enrollment,specialty training and professional practice: 1,The fixed concepts that girls have the advantage of language learning should be eliminated in the process of enrollment and female and male students who are qualified for re-examination should be treated equally under the same examination conditions.It is necessary to have a psychological test in the re-examination.2,In term of professional training,the institute should make to optimize the teaching conditions of the major of Chinese international education in our school,to create a professional curriculum system with our own characteristics,to innovative training mode,to strengthen mechanism for professional practice learning and employment guidance.
