| Confucius Institute has achieved gratifying results on five continents with the “going out”model.Although Confucius Institute Research is a hot topic in recent years,but few Scholars have already studied and discussed about Confucius Institute curriculum,especially about African Confucius Institutes.By methods of observation,questionnaire,interview and statistics,an investigate on the current situation of Burundi University Confucius Institute’s Chinese credit course at the Confucius was conducted and the analysis of data from the perspective of the students showed that although the Confucius Institute at the University of Burundi is well received,but it has problems in class size,class schedule,class time,student management,teacher strength,teaching textbooks and teaching contents.The development of Confucius Institute is the result of cooperation between China and the rest of the world.Then suggest that Burundi University Confucius Institute,with the support of Burundi University adopt small class teaching,rationally arrange teaching time,combine classroom management with student performance assessment,increase the quantity and quality of Chinese credit course Teachers by various channels,expand Chinese credit course teaching contents;and Students,teachers,Burundi University Confucius Institute,Burundi University unilaterally try their best to play their own role.Hope with the presentation of the current situation,the existing problems,the constructive suggestions,the sustainable development proposals and the Countermeasures on Burundi University Confucius Institute’s Chinese Credit Course can provide the general referential for the development of Burundi University,African and global Confucius Institutes,and can also promote the work on International Promotion of Chinese Language. |
