A Practice Report On Strategies Of Imbalanced Channel Structure In Chinese-english Simultaneous Interpreting From The Perspetive Of Interpretive Theory

As the main means of cultural communication,mass media can deliver mainstream universal values and current affairs of today's world quickly and directly from the grassroots to every heart that can be touched.Among various media methods,the content of talk show is closer to the life and more practical.Therefore,the author chooses a talk show Influenced Dialogue as the corpus of this paper.The program pays more attention to timeliness so the author chooses simultaneous interpreting for practice.In the process of mimetic simultaneous interpreting,the author encounters a problem with very high frequency,namely,imbalanced channel structure.Firstly,I will talk a little bit about the channel.Channel equals to the communication channel.Channel is a proper term in the field of communication technology.Channel as a communication medium,it is the bridge connecting the output end and the input end.It ensured the smooth and effective transmission.Therefore,compared with the channel,the author thinks that in the practice of interpreting,the interpreter,as a medium connecting the source language and the target language,the obligations of language transmission and communication technology transmission have similarities.Once the transmission is broken,the failure is called imbalanced channel.There are many factors that lead to the imbalanced channel.Based on the structure factor,the author discusses the causes of imbalanced channel structure from three perspectives.They are imbalanced channel capacity,imbalanced transmission mate and imbalanced transmission mode.At the same time,the author chooses the interpretive theory as the theoretical basis of this paper,and chooses typical cases to do in-depth studies,and gives responding strategies.Break source language structure and rebuild target language capacity.Adjust logical reception of source language and change channel width of target language.Integrate jargon source and transform metaphorical translation to deductive translation.In addition,the explanation of related concepts will be introduced in detail in the task introduction and case studies,such as imbalanced channel structure,imbalanced channel capacity,etc.The article is only for the introduction,I hope it can bring some help to later researchers.
