| Using pictures to assist Chinese vocabulary teaching plays an important role in improving the quality of classroom teaching and enhancing students’ cognition and memory of vocabulary.In the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,pictures can create relevant language scenes,can activate classroom atmosphere,effectively use pictures to attract students’ attention,and stimulate students’ interest in learning and motivation.However,not all teaching using picture-assisted vocabulary is efficient and perfect.Teaching activities are a real,complex,and comprehensive process,subject to subjective and objective factors in many aspects such as emotional factors of the teaching parties,the specific environment of the classroom,and teaching conditions.How to use the role of pictures in vocabulary teaching,take effective teaching strategies and achieve the goal of effective teaching are the core issues of this study.The first part is based on the three domains of the Second Language Acquisition theories,Nation’s vocabulary knowledge framework theory,and the Chinese teaching goals.It establishes the picture of the primary Chinese vocabulary for Thai students from the aspects of students’ emotional attitudes and vocabulary knowledge.The effective use of standards.Through the analysis of visual perception model theory and memory psychology theory,the cognitive effect and memory advantage of the picture are summarized.The second part follows the principle of affirmation,accuracy,and conciseness.The image processing function is processed into scale descriptors by means of splitting,rewriting,and merging,and the Likert scale has been used as a model for higher reliability and validity.The picture of the role of the Thai primary vocabulary teaching in the determination of the scale,the quantitative study method established the reference standard for picture selection.The third part summarizes the methods and strategies for improving the effectiveness of image assisting in Thai-Chinese vocabulary teaching from my own teaching practice in Thailand,and builds a photo-assisted Thai primary vocabulary teaching model with a scale as the selection basis.The fourth part examines the validity of the scale and the effectiveness of the teaching model by means of teaching cases and total semester assessments.Whether it is the establishment of a scale or the construction of teaching modes,it is a summary,addition,and improvement of the techniques and methods used in vocabulary teaching.It is hoped that Chinese teachers will use pictures to provide beneficial methods for the teaching of Thai primary vocabulary.reference. |
