In modern society,many children are faced with divorces of their parents,so we throw out a eternal question:when parents got divorced,how could children get more love from their parents,and a steady and safe family life.For this question,social support like social security and benefit system are mainly focused on living support for these single-parental families,but mental wounds are hard to be cured shortly.As part of the reading therapy,as well as the first book of the children's lifetime,Children's Picture Books is a most suitable experience for the children.For the mental needs of children with single parent,the single-parent theme Children's Picture Books acts as a meaningful media to connect the mental Interaction and to spread the rightful sense of worth,as well as the mental cure from the reading therapy.Also,the object value of CPB is the souvenir of the eternal sharing memories of parents and children.However,the original single-parent theme Children's Picture Books in our country is nearly empty,and one of the cause is the lack of theoretical study of this theme of Children's Picture Books.This article is to study the narrative characteristics of single-parent theme Children,s Picture Books.At first,this article analyzed the relationship of the reader and the single-parent theme Children,s Picture Books,revealed the scope of the readers and the unique concept of world of the children,the major readers,and analyzed the possible mental value of the single-parent theme Children's Picture Books for single-parent family children,as the basis of the picture narratives.Then the article started from existing single-parent theme picture stories,combined with the literary theory of children centered view of children,and analyzed the key points,topics and the characteristics of the story expression focused by the children literature,providing some thinks of creating Children's Picture Books of this theme.Later,the article analyzed the characteristics of the way of transfering the information by overall emotional atmosphere and the picture itself from the visual information,one of the narrative elements of single-parent theme Children's Picture Books.Finally,in the view of combining the pictures and words,from the relationship of the pictures and the words,the graphic irony feature,and the narrative thythm,this article analyzed the common techniques of this kind of theme.
