Metro murals are an important part of public art.Metro murals designed by decorative methods are not only innovative in shape,but also intuitive and prominent in theme.They are easy to be accepted by the public.Therefore,Metro decorative murals are an art suitable for the application of Metro space.In recent years,with the continuous construction of Tianjin metro,metro space art has become one of the important projects of Metro construction.Metro decorative murals have broad application prospects in Metro space.Tianjin has a profound cultural heritage,which is characterized by the combination of China and the West,compatibility between ancient and modern,and distinctive features.Tianjin's subway space has a large flow of people,which is suitable for propaganda of Tianjin culture.The rational application of subway decorative murals can not only beautify the space environment of the subway,but also deepen people's memory of geographical location.Nowadays,the cultural construction in Tianjin Metro is relatively monotonous,so this research is in line with the future development trend of Tianjin Metro.Based on the research and induction of Tianjin regional culture,this paper summarizes the concept and connotation of Tianjin's representative regional culture,extracts the cultural elements,and uses decorative artistic techniques to integrate into the fresco design of Tianjin Metro.Through drawing lessons from the typical cases of domestic and foreign excellent subway decorative murals design,innovative research is carried out from the aspects of composition,shape,color,content,material and technology,in order to orientate the development of Tianjin subway decorative murals,and to develop the art forms suitable for Tianjin subway murals.
