| The study of linguistic landscape has become increasingly popular and has become a hot research object in recent years.Compared with the foreign linguistic landscape research,China's research in this field is relatively late and immature at present.Taking the linguistic landscape of Guilin Road business district in Changchun city as the research object,this thesis has combined the relevant sociolinguistic knowledge and linguistic landscape knowledge to carry out the related research.There are few studies can be found on the linguistic landscape of Changchun city.In this thesis,600 shop signs in the business circle of Guilin road have been selected for research,which may have certain influence on the research of the linguistic landscape and exert certain guiding significance for the future urban planning and construction of Changchun city.This thesis falls into four parts:The first part is an introduction on the Changchun city Guilin road business district linguistic landscape.According to the collected materials,the thesis analyzes the materials with quantitative methods,and generalizes the general situation of language landscape,code selection,combination and arrangement,font selection of shop signboards in Guilin road business circle,number of characters and the use of rhetoric.The second part has made a generalization of Ghangchun Guilin road business district linguistic landscape characteristics.Based on the quantitative analysis of the materials,Changchun Guilin road business district language scene has the following characteristics: highlighting internationalization of code combination,diversity of code arrangement,simplified writing of signboards,concise name of signboards and humorous Chinese signboards.The third part elaborates the linguistic landscape function of the business circle of Guilin road in Changchun city.The linguistic landscape in Guilin road business circle has been analyzed from information from language landscape function and symbolic function.In the process of naming,the shop signs are closely associated with social cultural psychology;the linguistic landscape in Guilin road business circle presents the cultural,geographical and fashion information;the linguistic landscape contains language identity and the social identity and status of the audience.The fourth part points out the problems of language landscape in the business circle of Guilin road in Changchun city and tends to put forward some suggestions for further improvement.The main problems in the language landscape of Guilin road business district in Changchun city are the misuse of homophonic characters to attract consumers,the misuse of fonts to achieve aesthetics leads to ambiguity,the non-standard translation and non-standard arrangement for the pursuit of fashion leads to language identity deviation.Moreover,some suggestions are put forward to perfect the construction of linguistic landscape of Guilin road business district.To sum up,after the macroscopic description and internal analysis of the shop signs in the business circle of Guilin road in Changchun city,we have a relatively comprehensive understanding of the linguistic landscape.As the most prosperous business circle in Changchun city,the business circle of Guilin road displays its obvious characteristics and functions in the linguistic landscape.However,there are some problems in the linguistic landscape of Guilin road business district and we have put forward corresponding advice. |
