A Study Of Heroic Narration In Military TV Dramas Directed By Liu Meng

Throughout the creation of military-themed TV dramas in the 21 st century,as an important type of contemporary film and TV dramas,it plays an important role in shaping the values and aesthetics of contemporary society.With the changes of social and economic macro-context in the 21 st century,military-themed TV plays have regained the dominant position of TV screens in the context of multi-cultural context.Their success not only shaped a number of revolutionary heroes and models of the times in the new era,but also provided unique academic circles with diversified narrative subject expression,three-dimensional narrative discourse style and innovative narrative ideas.Research value.This paper takes the representative plays of Liu Meng in the 21 st century domestic military TV series as the research model,takes narratology as the basic theoretical basis,uses case analysis and content analysis methods,and focuses on combing the heroic narrative and its evolution in Liu Meng’s military reality TV series.Firstly,starting from the change of heroic narrative subject characteristics,this paper studies the heroic narrative subject under the historical pedigree,summarizes the characteristics and basic ways of its heroic narrative subject,explores the deep cultural implications of the evolution of heroic narrative subject and its current characteristics,and then electrifies Liu Meng’s military realistic subject matter in his works from the perspectives of "discourse theory" and "narrative mechanism".The narrative discourse of TV plays is elaborated and its mechanism elements are analyzed,and then the contextual elements of heroic narrative formation of domestic military TV plays in the new century are analyzed from the aspects of national cultural context,social cultural context and military cultural context.Finally,the heroic narrative of Liu Meng’s works,which are representative of the domestic military TV dramas,is counter-regulated,and the existing problems are rethought in order to provide useful reference and Enlightenment for the main body shaping and narrative strategy of the similar theme ‘heroic narrative’ in the future.
