The Study On The Design Of Book Of Songs's Story Illustration

The Book of Songs is the crystallization of the wisdom of the Chinese traditional culture which is full of strong atmosphere of humanism.The ancient people use songs to express themselves and their feelings.The beautiful songs in the book bring the plants emotions and cultural meanings.At present,social culture is faced with impacts and challenges which are brought by modern civilization and foreign culture.Showing the plants in forms of illustration is a new approach to promote the culture of the Book of Songs.With the improvement of people's living standards and their aesthetic taste,illustrations,this form of expression,becomes more and more popular among the general public.Based on such background,this paper studies the illustration design for the plants in the book so as to provide new ideas for the inheritance and dissemination of the Book of Songs.This paper compiles the relevant knowledge of the Book of Songs and illustrations,analyzes the characteristics of modern illustration design,confirms the argument that the illustration design for the Book of Songs is a re-innovation of the modern illustration under the guidance of Chinese traditional painting,and summarizes the characteristics and principles of the illustration design for the plants in the Book of Songs.Then,it summarizes the characteristics of traditional Chinese painting from four aspects,namely the composition,shape,color and mood performance.It also draws up the guiding principles of the modern illustration design for the Books of Songs.Finally,this paper puts the theory into practice,makes interpretations and designs for the literary piece of the Book of Songs,and applies illustration design to posters,packaging and VI.
