Exploration And Research On Chinese Traditional Freehand Style Painting ——Taking The Redesign Of The Illustration Of "Hai Cuo Tu" As An Example

In today’s faster and faster pace of life,people’s pursuit of visual experience is becoming more and more personalized and spiritual,which also brings new opportunities for the modern development of traditional culture and art.Chinese traditional freehand style painting pays special attention to the expression of spirit.Freehand spirit,with its rich ideological connotation,provides modern design with oriental design ideas.The ancient Chinese illustration book "Hai Cuo Tu" with traditional Chinese freehand style is a wonderful book that can be compared with "Shan Hai Jing",and it is also the only marine life science documentary in the history of our country,which contains extremely rich scientific value and artistic value.Redesigning "Hai Cuo Tu" with modern illustrations,while retaining the freehand spirit,it creates a modern and interesting design form,which is presented in a modern visual way,which not only inherits and promotes traditional Chinese art,but also conveys marine culture.bringing people to think about the ocean and the relationship between man and nature.This paper firstly conducts basic research on Chinese traditional freehand style painting,narrates the concept of Chinese traditional freehand style painting,analyzes its artistic style and extracts two most representative artistic expressions,and then leads to the Chinese traditional freehand style illustration with freehand spirit.The concept of "Hai Cuo Tu",and expounds its painting style,analyzes the description of marine creatures with specific examples,and compares the painting style of "Hai Cuo Tu" and other traditional Chinese museum illustration works with the painting style of Western natural history illustration works.Through comparison and research,we can summarize the originality of "Hai Cuo Tu" in the form of painting and recording,and provide effective theoretical support for the exploration and redesign of "Hai Cuo Tu".Secondly,the design ideas and concepts of re-creation are discussed in detail from the three aspects of carrying forward tradition,combining modern aesthetic language and intresting communication of marine culture,and explaining its inheritance value and derivative value.Through the artistic research on the freehand style and "Hai Cuo Tu",the illustration design with the theme of "Hai Cuo New Interpretation" was finally determined.Combining the artistic expression of freehand style paintings with modern interesting design methods,the creation of the inheritance and innovation of traditional Chinese ancient books was completed.Practical application,I hope to show the spiritual connotation and unique charm of traditional Chinese art to the public with a new look,and to discover more design works with Chinese beauty in the integration of modernity and tradition.
