Redesign Of Traditional Scientific And Technological Illustrations

As an important representative work of China’s traditional agricultural science and technology books,"Tiangong Kaiwu" has always been a treasure for scholars at home and abroad,but most of the research is to explore the content of the text from multiple perspectives.The author believes that scientific and technological illustrations have very important aesthetic significance.Therefore,the research of this project takes "Tiangong Kaiwu · Naili" as the creation blueprint,based on which to explore the types,development context and contemporary value of illustrations in traditional science and technology books,sort out the content and artistic characteristics of illustrations in "Tiangong Kaiwu",a traditional agricultural science and technology book,and analyze the current situation and development trend of contemporary science and technology illustrations.In terms of research practice,the three groups of illustrations of "Tiangong Kaiwu · Naili" are recreated statically and dynamically by means of contemporary drawing tools and traditional ink and wash expression techniques.To popularize the planting,technology,working tools and working scenes of traditional agriculture,and explore the contemporary media of traditional science and technology illustrations.It is expected to explore the contemporary expression of traditional scientific and technological illustrations,provide a new path for the development of contemporary illustration design,expand the application field of traditional scientific and technological illustrations,excavate the spirit of traditional science and technology,and make a modest contribution to the dissemination and development of traditional Chinese scientific and technological images.
