Research On Micro-documentary Narration Of “Er Geng Videos”

In the new media context,a series of "micro" products represent,in which the micro-documentary attracts a large number of audience to view with it’s authenticity and profundity.Among the many creators,"Er Geng" stands out and becomes a leader in the field of micro-documentaries."Er Geng",alias "Er Geng Videos",was founded by Hangzhou Er Geng Network Technology Co.,Ltd.Starting in November 2014.An original video is pushed at the WeChat public at second cent every night(21:00-23:00).The video is mainly about micro-documentary,and the camera aims at the humanities,art,life and other aspects,records the real life of ordinary people and founds that people do not know the beauty of life.In the establishment of 3 years,"Er Geng Videos" broadcast volume exceeded 20 billion,and the Sina Weibo fans also up to 8.73 million,which has been widely recognized by the audience.The article take "Er Geng Videos" as the study object.And this paper combines the quantitative research method with the qualitative research method.This paper uses the method of literature investigation,content analysis and case analysis to make a detailed analysis of the narration of "Er Geng Videos",which from three dimensions of narrative elements,narrative strategies and narrative value.After that,as for the "Er Geng Videos" shortcomings in the narrative process,the paper puts forward suggestions,in order to promote the development of the "Er Geng Videos".First of all,this paper analyses the narrative elements’ characteristics from three aspects of narrative language,narrative perspective and narrative thinking."Er Geng Videos" form it’s own unique narrative characteristics in the narrative process.It has the fragmented narrative thinking as guide,uses a variety of narrative perspective and unique narrative language to finish it’s narrative.Secondly,this paper analyses its narrative strategy from three aspects of theme presentation,narration mode and editing art in the theme presentation,"Er Geng Videos" uses populist perspective to show a variety of themes in the way of narration,it uses an unfamiliar narration strategy and strives for innovation.In the way of editing,it uses a personalized editing art to grasp the overall narrative rhythm.Thirdly,this article analyses the nattative value of “Er Geng Videos” in the traditional culture inheritance,the public domain construction as well as the film and television pattern restructuring.Finally,aiming at the problems in the narration of "Er Geng Videos",this paper puts forward its own suggestions.These problems include the blunt end of the narrative,the deliberate elevation of the main thrust,as well as the ignore the details when the scene reappears and influence the narrative realism.The author thinks that it should strengthen the logic of narration and embody the main thrust in silence.At the same time,it should pay great attention to the detail and the reasonable layout in order to strengthen the realism of the narrative.
