The Research Of Asahi Newspaper's Reports About Wuhan Battle

Newspapers,radio,television and the Internet are called "the four major media".In Japan in the 1930 s,radio station has appeared but it was not universal.And newspaper as a mainstream social media,it was undoubtedly an important tool for propaganda in the war and also a boost to the war of aggression.Based on the analysis of the reports of Asahi Shimbun which was the largest newspaper in Japan at that time during the battle of Wuhan,this paper analyzes the characteristics of Japanese newspapers in the Sino Japanese War,and its influence on the Japanese people,and analyzes the reasons for these characteristics.This paper is divided into three parts.The first section focuses on the construction of the entire Japanese press system during the sino-japanese war,the construction of the spread and the movement of the press about the propaganda of the war.After the 1920 s,Japan's internal contradictions intensified,and the political operation of the country was gradually kidnapped by the military department.The change of political ecology and the change of international form make the space day of public opinion become more and more tight.Japanese newspaper industry also gradually deviates from the criticism and supervision function of public opinion,and finally "turns" and becomes the "advocate" of the war of aggression.The second part is the main part of the article.This paper mainly analyzes the reports of asahi shimbun during the battle of wuhan,and analyzes the characteristics of the newspaper from four aspects: main title,subtitle,news source,and core content of news.The main title is the first weapon to guide readers' thinking and influence the readers' opinions,while the main title reported by the asahi shimbun can be divided into two categories,highlighting the Japanese war work and the devalue of China's war situation.It can be seen that the beginning of the report has had a one-sided effect on the readers' thinking.The subtitle is particularly the best of the best,and overrendering,sympathetic,defamatory,partial distortion,and "smart odeb" subheadings are all visible.The core content of the news is not only to conceal the widespread use of chemical weapons by the Japanese army during the war of aggression,but also to make false propaganda about the data of the war,and to use exaggerated words to whitewash the Japanese aggression and even to portray the embodiment of justice.It is also a feature of that story of the daily press that cannot be ignore,that is,the diversity of sources of information.In addition to the press release from the asahi's correspondent,the asahi shimbun newspaper also quoted a number of press releases from major powers such as allied news agencies,the military department,British,French and American,while news reports from different sources have different characteristics.The asahi shimbun's reports have its own features,but more,as a microcosm of Japanese newspapers,The asahi shimbun's reports are given to the common features by the social environment.Therefore,in the third part,the author analyzes the reasons for the characteristics of the asahi shimbun in the context of the sino-japanese war by analyzing the three elements of communication,the historical limitation of the newspaper and the history and culture of Japan.
