| With the increasingly growing mandarin fever around the world, more and more German are engaged in acknowledging Chinese. Teaching of cultural factors, as a crucia(?) part of Chinese-teaching, has a vital influence. Taking Great Wall Chinese â… /â…¡/â…¢ as the object, this is used in the primary period Chinese teaching in the Confucius institute in Munich This essay mainly researches the Chinese teaching of cultural factors in Germany.Using the standard of classification of Zhang Zhanyi’s knowledge culture and communicative culture, this essay concludes and analyzes the cultural factors in the first, second, third volume of Great Wall Chinese which synthesizes the fine standard of several knowledge culture and communicative culture.Two questionnaire surveys of student edition and teacher edition are designed for the research of cultural factors in teaching process. By these two questionnaire surveys, the attitude of students and teachers can be learnt, especially the cultural factors in texts and the handling of cultural factors in classroom At the end of this research, I will find out the difference between the textbook and students’ need, what teachers teach and what students really need and the difficult points and key points.Through the statistical conclusion, it becomes clear that teachers and students pay much more attention to the factors of communicative culture than knowledge culture. The factors of knowledge culture in textbook, however, occupy a much more important role than the factors of communicative culture. With regard to the concrete cultural factors, such as how to reject others, how to be modest, and national festivals and customs, should be added into the textbook. Teachers and students have different attitudes towards these concrete cultural factors, such as daily expressions, how to reject others, political economy, diet, being modest, sensitive language and environment and climate. So teachers should pay much attention to these cultural factors or change their teaching methods.Finally, this essay investigates the teaching method of Chinese cultural factors in Germany. There are four suggestions:First, use the textbook appropriately. Second, make full use of students’ background knowledge. Third, select appropriate teaching content involving cultural factors. Fourth, select right teaching methods involving cultural factors. All the suggestions are based on the detailed cases, which can offer some help to the Chinese teaching involving cultural factors in German. |
