Realizing the modernization of the country has always been the lofty goal pursued by people with lofty ideals in modern times. With the expansion of Chinese people's vision, they found that the existing traffic conditions were not strong enough to realize the modernization of the country,so building railways became an important task in the late Qing dynasty and the Republic of China. The connection of railway lines made the previously undeveloped towns become important industrial and commercial cities, such as Tangshan,Shijiazhuang,Zhengzhou and so on.While these towns were sprinting on the road of modernization, many towns along railway lines which seemed to be in decline did not show stagnation or retrogression.Driven by railways, the development of such towns is equally important for the modernization of the country. In modern times, due to the Jing-Han railway, the flow of population from rural areas to urban areas in Xingtai speeded up obviously.Traditional industries such as cotton, fur and coal mine were developing rapidly. The level of social civilization was obviously higher than before. But at that time, especially from the perspective of products exhibition, there was still a gap with the emerging cities and towns. This also reflects that the railway is not the determinant of regional development, but if there had been no railway, the region would have lost the "quantity accumulation".Therefore, the importance of railways to the region along the line is self-evident.
