Research On Lv Ji’s Outline Of Research On Chinese Folk Music

Lv Ji is a famous music theorist in China.Since the 1930 s,he has been devoted to the collection,organization and research of folk music in China.How to Study Folk Music(Research Outline)(the predecessor of Chinese Folk Music Research Outline,hereinafter referred to as Outline)is a programmatic literary theory about Chinese folk music published in Yan’an in 1942.This article has a far-reaching impact on the research of Chinese folk music at that time and even now.For a number of reasons,the Outline has been formed multiple versions in the long history.In view of the phenomenon and content of "multi-versions" of history,the author intends to solve doubts and enrich the history of music in theoretical research.It also provides some permissive and self-referential theories for future researchers of the Outline.The full text is composed of three parts: introduction,body and conclusion.The main body includes four chapters.The first chapter is Lv Ji and the Outline,including the life story of Lv Ji,the textual study of the Outline and the research content of " multi-versions ".In the second chapter,through the "historical field",the author tries to answer the three puzzles of Yan’an,many revisions and "multi-versions" in the Outline.Chapter three makes a comparative study of the contents of "Three Versions" of the Outline.Chapter four,based on historical data and reality,explores the significance of the Outline.This paper summarizes the significance of Outline in "traditional music",and combs the influence of Outline in "Chinese Ethnomusicology" and Lv Ji.
