Nowadays,there are many factors causing stress,mainlyunder the stimulation of bad emotions,the individual's body and psychology are seriously affected.For college students,theirstressors mainly include study,employment,social contact,family and other aspects,and there are various ways to relieve stress in life,such as exercisetherapy,painting therapy,dance therapy,psychological stress reduction courses andso on.Music therapy is a marginal and interdisciplinary subject established in the United States in the middle of the 20 th century.It is between music and therapy and includes many disciplines such as medicine,psychology,pedagogy,psychiatry,etc.It uses musicas a medium and a variety of music forms as a means of treatment to prevent and treat diseases and psychological treatment,which has been deeply concerned and welcomed by people.The application of music therapy in medicine,psychology and other fields has received great attention.Its role in clinical application has also been recognized and has been widely used in all aspects of people's lives.In the education sector,music therapy also often plays a role in relieving stress,regulating emotions and changing psychological state,helping students relieve bad emotions and psychological pressure.This thesis is mainly to study the qualitative analysis of group music therapy to relieve the psychological pressure of science and technology college students.Taking the students of Harbin Institute of Technology(hereinafter referred to as Harbin Institute of Technology)as the research object,this thesis takes part in group music therapy activities through voluntary registration,conducts questionnaire survey and scale test on visitors participating in music activities,and uses interview and observation methods to conduct research and analysis.This thesis is to analyze the intervention effect of group music therapy on relieving the psychological pressure of Harbin Institute of Technology students with qualitative research.Through the analysis of questionnaire survey and scale results,and the analysis of ten group music therapy activities,it is concluded that group music therapy has certain effects on relieving the bad emotions of college students and promoting good interpersonal relationships among college students.Group music therapy can relieve the depressive emotions of college students,help college students change their psychological state,view the world around them with optimistic attitude,improve the ability of college students to resist pressure and setbacks,and improve the life happiness index of college students.The research of this paper is the first time that the author explores the research of group music therapy in the field of college students' mental health.Although the research process has gone through hardships,the research results have achieved certain results.Psychological stress and mental health of college students is a very complicated and huge field.Through ten times of group music therapy interventions for Harbin Institute of Technology students,we should apply and promote group music therapy in college students' mental health education,not only in engineering schools.Finally,the author hopes that music therapy can be further developed in college students' psychological stress,and that college students can maintain their physical and mental health,complete their studies in a harmonious and good mental health environment,meet new challenges,and create value for the motherland.
