| College students are in the transitional period from adolescence to adulthood, and their physical and mental development is volatile and unstable. They are faced with the new challenges of living alone outside their hometown, and are more likely to breed psychological problems compared with other groups.Research shows that 30% of college students in China show different degrees of psychological problems, the incidence of emotional problems is particularly prominent, and there is an increasing trend year by year. The common negative emotions such as depression and anxiety have caused more and more serious psychological troubles to college students.Studies have shown that the experience of psychological abuse in childhood can predict the occurrence of psychological distress in adulthood to a certain extent, and psychological abuse in childhood has a certain hindrance effect on the healthy development of psychological resilience, resulting in the difficulty of developing flexible and effective coping styles in the face of setbacks in growth, and then falling into a passive and passive state of learned helplessness. Therefore, this study aims to explore the relationship between childhood psychological abuse, college students’ psychological resilience and college students’ psychological distress, and investigate the mediating role of psychological resilience in the two. From the perspective of improving the psychological distress of college students, this paper attempts to use group box-court therapy to systematically intervene the psychological resilience of college students, and evaluates the effectiveness and durability of the intervention. This study is divided into two parts. In the first study,815 undergraduates from a university in Yantai were selected as the research objects.Using the child psychological abuse scale, psychological distress scale and mental resilience scale as tools, data were collected and analyzed through questionnaire survey to test the mediating role of mental resilience. The results show that there is a significant negative correlation between childhood psychological abuse and all dimensions(intimidation, neglect, derogation, interference, conniving)and psychological resilience and all dimensions(tenacity,self-improvement,optimism),and a significant positive correlation between childhood psychological abuse and psychological distress and all dimensions(depression, anxiety, stress). There was a significant negative correlation between psychological resilience and its dimensions(tenacity,self-improvement,optimism)and psychological distress and its dimensions(depression, anxiety, stress).Psychological resilience played a partial mediating role in the prediction of psychological distress caused by childhood psychological abuse. In study 2,12 subjects with low mental resilience who met the requirements were selected based on the questionnaire results obtained in study 1,and divided into 6participants in the intervention group and 6 participants in the control group according to the principle of random sampling. The pre and post test experimental design was adopted in the intervention group and the control group.6 participants in the intervention group received group box court treatment for 8 times for 2 months and intervention follow-up study for 6 months. The control group carried on normal teaching activities without any intervention during this period.Quantitative research and qualitative research were used.On the one hand, the score changes of the two groups in the level of psychological resilience and psychological distress before and after the intervention were investigated,as well as the score changes of the intervention group during the tracking process. On the other hand, after each group box-court activity,self-reflective questionnaire was used to explore the changes in the basic structure of members’ mental resilience during the intervention process,so as to verify the intervention mechanism of group box-court therapy on mental resilience. The results showed that the psychological resilience and psychological distress of the intervention group had significant differences in pre and post test scores, while that of the control group had no significant differences in pre and post test scores. The psychological resilience of the intervention group was significantly higher than that of the pre test, while the psychological distress of the intervention group was significantly lower than that of the pre test. After six months of follow-up,there was no significant difference in the scores of psychological resilience and psychological distress in the intervention group compared with the posttest. With the development of group box-court activities, the basic structure of members’ mental resilience(self-esteem,social support, stress coping, social skills)has been developed to some extent. To sum up,this study draws the following conclusions:(1)Childhood psychological abuse, psychological distress and psychological resilience of college students are poundwise correlated.(2)The psychological resilience of college students plays a partial mediating role between psychological abuse and psychological distress in childhood. To a certain extent, psychological abuse in childhood can lead to psychological distress of college students by hindering the sound development of their psychological resilience.(3)Group box court therapy can improve the psychological distress of college students by improving their level of mental resilience, and the intervention effect has good durability within half a year. |
