With the constant development of the undertaking of international education of Chinese,the number of international students coming to China to learn Chinese has gradually increased,raising a higher requirement on the teaching of Chinese and stimulating reflections and study on the teaching of Chinese.There are two types of Chinese teaching for international students: The first type is the class teaching system for a collective;the other type is One-to-one teaching for individuals.The class teaching system for a collective stresses classes,courses,class hours,and teaching efficiency and has always been the basic form of organization for teaching Chinese to foreigners.Meanwhile,it is also denounced for its prominent weakness of inability to offer individualized teaching.Therefore,some people make use of individual teaching to transform such teaching.One-to-one teaching has also gradually become another important form of teaching Chinese to foreigners.During internship,the author had the honor to observe the classroom of Chinese teaching for international students from Thailand.It is found that even in the same classroom,learners from the same country at the same age can display sharp difference in learning outcome.How to maximally implement individualized teaching for different learners has become the biggest difficulty in teaching.Therefore,the design of one-to-one teaching and case study for international students is of great practical significance.This thesis takes international students from Thailand as the teaching objects and conducts one-to-one teaching design for the lesson Three E-mails.The thesis consists of four parts:Part One: preface.It firstly introduces the origin and significance of the topic selection forthe thesis and then offers a literature review from the research status on teaching design theories,research status on the Integrated Course of Intermediate Chinese,and research status on one-to-one teaching of teaching Chinese to foreigners.Finally,it introduces the research content and methods.Part Two: Front-end analysis of teaching design.A comprehensive analysis is conducted on the teaching objects,teaching environment,textbooks,and types of lessons.Part Three: Teaching design of Three E-mails.This is the body of the thesis.Based on the several sections of teaching design,the thesis designs the teaching for the lesson Three E-mails in detail and demonstrates the specific teaching plan for each period;Part Four: Teaching summary and reflection.Based on self-evaluation,the thesis also systematically analyzes the merits and defects of this teaching design and finally reflects on the problems that should be noted in teaching in the future.
