The Semantic Analysis And The Culture Explanation Of "You" In Chinese&British Background

As a spatial orientation concept,the orientation "right" also contains profound cultural meanings behind it.Based on China and the UK as the cultural background,this paper choose both the"you"in Chinese characters and"right"in English as the analysis object.Firstly,we try to interpret the"You"and"right" of a comprehensive reorganization,enumeration and analyzation.On this basis,the cultural facts including"You"and"right"in Chinese culture and British culture are enumerated and explained.Finally,the differences in the cultural meanings of"You"and"right" in Chinese and English are analyzed.As a language symbol,we find that"You"and"right"are favored in both Chinese and English."You"and"right”also include other rich meanings except for the meaning of the word.As a cultural symbol,"You Position"replace for different status in ancient Chinese culture."Respect to the You Position "and" Disrespect the You Position"may appear in different situations.In British culture,the word,"right" has a higher status.In British culture,"right"is generally regarded as "something or somebody that is honorable and auspicious".
