The Semantic Analysis And The Culture Explanation Of Chinese Traditional Cultural Core Category Of "Tian"

"Tian" is an important core scope of Chinese traditional culture. Since its’existence, it has put a profound influence on world views, philosophy and moral values.First, this thesis states the semantic development of "Tian." Second, it is also respectively based on the Analects of Confucius, Mencius and Xunzi as an example. This thesis analyzes the different meanings of "Tian" among the three important ideologists Confucius, Mencius and Xunzi, which are on the purpose of the Confucius schools’understanding of the development of "Tian" in the pre-Qin period.Finally, through the analysis and understanding of sentences containing "Tian," it will reveal and acknowledge the thinking of ancient people.
