| In the pre-qin period,the state of chu was a country where the worship of dragons,ghosts and gods and the worship of witchcraft were popular.The literature of this era has been influenced by this idea,and nine songs is a very typical representative;Chu ci is also a literary work born under this cultural background.The han dynasty was also a time when the pursuit of virtue and immortals prevailed.In the early han dynasty,most of the emperors and ministers came from chu,and the chu people had the tradition of worshiping witchcraft.Therefore,the han dynasty also inherited the tradition of chu in this respect.Under the influence of this thought,the concept of "death is life" came into being.People not only restore the living state of the deceased,but also send good wishes to the afterlife.Stone relief is the product of this concept;Therefore,the pictural carved stones first appeared in tombs and later appeared in some public places such as ancestral halls and other buildings and made extensive use of han dynasty the pictural carved stones.All kinds of patterns carved on the pictural carved stones in the han dynasty involve many subjects,including the reflection of the real life of the tomb owner,celestial phenomena,ghosts and gods,emperors in the ancient times,and the elevation of the tomb owner to the status of immortal.In the course of historical development,the influence of Chu culture is not limited to the time and space occupied by Chu State.In 223 B.C.,the Qin Army defeated the Chu Army and the State of Chu perished,but the creative subject of Chu culture still existed.In the early Western Han Dynasty,Liu Bang and the ministers he used were mostly from Chu,and Chu culture had many influences on the society of the Han Dynasty.Therefore,there was a concept that the Han people cherished,especially in the field of witchcraft belief,which had a profound impact.The Han people’s beliefs reflected in the stone portraits of the Han Dynasty can be traced back to the Chu culture.Through the analysis of the relevant images on the stone portraits of the Han Dynasty,this paper finds out the ideas behind them and makes a comparison with Chu Ci.Through the comparison of Han stone portraits and Chuci,we hope to have a deeper understanding of the cultural heritage and the influence of Chu culture on the social life and culture of the Han Dynasty. |
