The main focus of this thesis is the analysis and research of the main characteristics of Chinese teaching in Italian universities.To achieve the result,the thesis will compare two different universities,a small one and a bigger one,to understand the similarities between them and to discover if any common characteristic is present and to discover the strenght point and the weak point of the two institutions.After that,the thesis will try to give some practical teaching advice to improve the overall quality of the Chinese courses offered.In order to achieve the research result,the writer has successfully given a questionnaire to the students of Venice Ca’ Foscari University and of Bergamo University to gather their opinion and advices about Chinese language teaching in their school.The first chapter explains the main topic of this paper and the reason for choosing it and also makes a recap for the present research on the topic in China and abroad.Last,it presents the research method.The second chapter and the second chapter offer a view on the University of Venice and the University of Bergamo and also analyses the data from the questionnaire,divided into the main fields of study of the questionnaire.The fourth chapter further analyses the results of the questionnaire and offers a view of which are the common point and the differences between the two universities.The fifth chapter offers some advices to the two universities,to the Italian Ministry of education and to the Confucius Institute in order to improve the level of Chinese teaching.
