Study On Building Modes Of Musical Image In National Percussion Music Performance Of China

National percussion music of China has a long and deep historical tradition. It is an important constituent part of the traditional musical culture of China. Nowadays, as percussion music performance is becoming more and more popular, we shouldn’t ignore the intimate relation between art and people’s emotional experience when playing national percussion instruments. This natural link is performers’ abundant imagination and building ability of musical image. As professional performers, we not only need to master the professional performance skills but also clearly know the performance purpose and performance style, which are associated with performers’ emotional imagination and life accumulation. In the basic theoretical field of musical aesthetics, there are philosophical relations of emotional interaction and thinking remodeling among performers, musical works and audiences. The most important link is the musical image building of performers for audiences. This paper firstly analyzes the conceptions of image and musical image, to explore the meaning of musical image in national percussion music of China. Then in the building modes of abundant musical images, it concludes and analyzes the methods of building musical image in percussion music performance. The third part is linking theory with practice, through the experience and thinking of the author in the performance practice of national percussion music, it deeply explores musical image building in the performance practice of national percussion music of China.
