Shyness refers to individuals who was on a certain occasions or situations(in the face of strangers or public events)because of they are experiences such as nervousness,timidity,and fear that behave shy,blush,unnatural expressions,and behavioral retreats.If you are overly shy,it may have a negative impact on your study,social life,life and future employment.Therefore,in order to understand the relationship between junior high school students' attribution style and personality,shyness.503 junior high school students were tested for "Shame Scale" and "Essenck Personality Questionnaire(Children's Edition)" and "Multidimensional Multiattributional Causality Scales",and selected 7 junior high school students with high shyness scores,using group sandplay to counseling and explore the possibility of reduce the level of shyness in junior high school students.The results are as follows:(1)There was a significant correlation between background attribution,neuroticism and shyness;neuroticism was a mediator of background attribution and shyness;(2)The shyness of phlegmatic type junior high school students is significantly stronger than that of choleric,melancholic and sanguine students.The scores of shyness of melancholic type junior high school students are significantly lower than those of the other three temperament types.The difference in sanguine and choleric students in shyness is not significant;(3)Group sandplay can effectively reduce the level of shyness in junior high school students.In summary,background attribution and neuroticism are important factors affecting the level of shyness in junior high school students;background attribution affects the level of shyness through neuroticism;group sandplay can effectively reduce the shyness in junior high school students.
