| Henderson thinks shyness in a social situation is the uncomfortable or inhibit.It is a kind ofnegative evaluation of fear, and with the emotional inhibition and depressed, may influence theexpectation of the activities involved in behavior, or to individual and professional pursuit ofbehavior.Western psychologists have made a lot of study of the problem of shyness,interpersonalattribution and coping style has a close relationship. But with cultural differences of the shyness,Chinese shyness research is in the initial stage, It needs to research shyness in the Chineseculture background.Middle school period has a rapid development of the physiological and psychological.Theappropriate shyness is a normal response. But if shyness in high level, it will have a seriouseffect on their study, daily life and healthy development.Therefore, this paper do a detailed study about the problems at home and abroad ofshyness.Put forward the aim of this study to test for middle school students and explores middleschool students shyness contemporary situation. This study adopts questionnaire survey method,use shy scale, high school students’ interpersonal attribution questionnaire and way to deal withthe questionnaire to two middle school students in laiwu of Shandong province for the test. Thispaper discusses the middle school students’ shyness, interpersonal attribution and deal with thecharacteristics of the way and mutual relationship. The conclusions are as followed:(1)The shy girl level is significantly higher than the boy; High school students’shyness issignificantly higher than the level of junior school students.(2)In the successful situation, there exists significant differences in the ISU in differentgenders of middle school students’.In the failure situation, there exists significant differencesdifferent in the EUU in different genders of middle school students. In the successful situation,high school students tend to be more internal stability attribution than middle school students; Inthe failure situation, middle school students tend to external unstable and uncontrolled factors.(3)Middle school students use coping style in order is deal with the problem, ask for help,fantasy, retreats, rationalization and remorse. The boy and girl only in fantasy way to deal withthe problem exists a significant difference. In retreats, guilt, fantasy, reasonable way high schoolstudents on significantly higher than middle school students. In solving the problem way, middleschool students significantly higher than high school students.(4)In the successful situation, shy and EUU have significant positive correlation. In thefailure situation, shy and ISU, IUC, ISC, IUU, ESC, EUC, ESU, EUU have significant positivecorrelation. (5)Solve the problem, help and shyness exist significant negative correlation. Remorse,fantasy, retreats, rationalization and shyness exist significantly positive correlation. Shyness is onnegative predicator to solve problems and help. Shyness is on positive effect predicted toremorse, fantasy, retreats and rationalization.(6)In the successful situation, the middle school students think the reason is stable internaland control factor.They tend to solve the problem and ask for help. If they think the reason isexternal uncontrolled factor, they tend to use remorse, fantasy and retreats ways. In the failuresituation, middle school students think the reason is stable internal and control factor, they tendto take remorse, fantasy and retreats way to deal with; If they think the reason is externaluncontrolled factor,they tend to solve the problem and ask for help.(7)In the successful situation, positive copying style are mainly affected by the shyness,EUU, ESC and IUC influence.Negative copying style are mainly affected by shyness, IUC, EUU,IUU, ESC, ISC influence. EUU, IUC, IUU, ESC which will directly influence the way to dealwith, also can through the shyness way to deal with the impact. In failure situation, positive wayare mainly affected by the shyness, EUU, ISC, ISU influence.Negative way are mainly affectedby shyness, ESC, EUU, IUU influence. ISC, EUU, IUU will directly influence the way to dealwith, also can through the shyness to deal with the impact. |
