Research On Chinese Cultural Industry Efficiency And Influencing Factors

In the 21st century,cultural industry develops rapidly and many countries have identified the cultural industry as a national strategic industry.Chinese cultural industry has developed rapidly.But the problems,such as regional imbalance,resources wasting and inefficiency,will affect the further development of Chinese cultural industry.Therefore,it is necessary to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the efficiency of Chinese cultural industry.Based on the evaluation of the efficiency of Chinese cultural industry,this paper attempts to analyze the factors affecting the efficiency of cultural industry.Then it will provide some corresponding policies to improve the efficiency of Chinese cultural industry.This paper researches on the Chinese cultural industry.In order to measure the efficiency of the cultural industry,it will construct a multi-input and multi-output index system.This article uses DEA model to estimate the efficiency of cultural industry.This paper also analyzes the impact of economic development level,human capital,industrial agglomeration degree,government behavior,urbanization level and innovation behavior on the efficiency of cultural industry.Finally,based on the research results,it puts forward suggestions on improving the efficiency of Chinese cultural industry.After calculating the efficiency of Chinese cultural industry in 2013-2017,we can see that the comprehensive technical efficiency of Chinese cultural industry is low,mainly due to the low efficiency of pure technology.The scale efficiency is high,and it shows a downward trend.The cultural industry in the eastern region is the most ef’ficient.The western region ranks second.And the central and northeastern regions are less efficient.The total factor productivity of Chinese cultural industry shows a slight growth trend,mainly due to the improvement of technological efficiency.And technology innovation is very slowly.Through the study of the factors affecting the efficiency of cultural industries,it can be seen that the level of economic development,the degree of industrial agglomeration,the level of urbanization and the innovative behavior have a significant positive impact on the efficiency of cultural industries,while the impact of human capital and government financial input on the efficiency of cultural industries is not significant.Finally,in order to improve the efficiency of cultural industry and enhance the competitiveness of China’s cultural industry,this paper puts forward the following suggestions.First,the government should change the direction of cultural industry policy from "quantity" to "quality";Second,the government should develop local cultural industries and promote cultural industry clusters;Third,the government should also cultivate cultural industry professionals and promote cultural industry innovation.
