Research on the Creation of Picture Book about Children’s health and Education —Taking the “Pupu Loves Candy” as an example.This creation of graduation chooses the formation of children’s health picture book and focuses on children ’s health problem of overuse candies.This creation’s topic is useful and practical for children’s health education.Children’s health education is the base for life-long health education.It’s a vital part of children’s growth experience.Develop children’s healthy behavior will not only affect children’s current health,but also affect their whole life.Picture book is a significant way for children’s education.It’s simple and easy for children to understand its meaning.It fits children’s mindset and inspires children’s interests about important knowledge and skills of their life in a relaxing environment.So that I choose Picture book as the formation of this graduation creation for children’s health education.In the domain of health education,I started my creation by interviewing people,combing materials and books,gathering information from the internet and other ways.From all the children’s health problems,I choose overusing candies as the topic for my creation.The title of the picture book is“Pupu Loves Candy”.This creation has two parts : Script creation part and drawing part.In the script creation part,I read a lot of great picture books and movies,combined theories from different articles and analyzed the story I want to present.After studied all the materials,I wrote the script of “Pupu Loves Candy ”.It has several details from comedies and exaggerate some details from real life.The main character and costar’s personalities form and activate the whole story which allows children to learn about knowledge of health while enjoying their reading.During the progress of creating,I studied many great picture books,pictures,artists‘ works and animation works.My study of those great works helps me with my theory base of my creation,allows me to find the appropriate style,character features and formats of the creation.These efforts makes the content of the story and format of the art combined together.The content in the pictures jump out of the regular space order and animate the picture.This will trigger children’s imagination and fit children’s aesthetical standard.
