The Research Of The Political District In The East Of Zhejiang Area In The Liang,Chen,Sui And Tang Dynasties

This thesis is based on the political district in the east of Zhejiang area during the Liang,Chen,Sui and Tang Dynasties.Sorting out the establishment and merger of the prefectures and counties in the east of Zhejiang area from the historical records.Compared with different historical records,and the problem of confusion between the documents was examined.The reasons for the changes in the political district were analyzed.The characteristics of division in the entire eastern Zhejiang area was further grasped.This thesis discusses Yuezhou,Mingzhou,Taizhou,Wuzhou,Quzhou,Wenzhou,and Chuzhou in eastern Zhejiang area respectively.It begins with an summary of the changes of prefectures and counties political districts in the Liang,Chen,Sui and Tang dynasties.This is followed by a review of the establishment and merger of the counties under each prefectures during this period,the textual records of inconsistencies,and the characteristics of the political district during this periods.Finally,the reasons for the establishment and merger in different area were discussed.
