This article analyzes the academic spirit, personality ideals, historical studies of the Eastern Zhejiang School in Southern Song Dynasty to explore what relationship it is of this School and XIN Qiji, CHEN Liang's Ci, on this basis, digging deep meaning of their works. The article is divided into three main parts:the first chapter about literary function theory and literary dynamic theory as an entry to the essential link between XIN, CHEN's literary concepts and the inner spirit of the Eastern Zhejiang School, focused on Ci's theory at the same time; the second chapter extracted Kun-peng imagery and depict it as a symbol of a literary ideal of the Eastern Zhejiang School; the third chapter focused on three aspects including the conception of historical vicissitudes, the history epistemology and the cultural perspective of history, so as to grasp the Eastern Zhejiang history-related characteristics of XIN, CHEN's Ci. In the epilogue, a certain background of Song Ci's urbanization, along with the idea of the Eastern Zhejiang School is proposed and the vital influence of XIN, CHEN's Ci on the development of Ci's genre is concluded. |
