The practice report chooses Premier Li's opening speech at Summer Davos Forum 2017 as the material to present the simulated consecutive interpretation processes.The consecutive interpretation process lasts a total of around one and a half hours on average.The opening speech was presented in Chinese by Premier Li with fields mainly on economy.politics.It also involves culture,medical care livelihood and so on.Meanwhile,there are many terminologies with Chinese characteristics such as inclusive growth.mass entrepreneurship and innovation and so forth.In addition,the complexity of numbers in this speech brings quite a few difficulties for interpreting such as a workforce of 900 million,3.5 trillion yuan and 30 million housing units and so on.The simulated practice report analyses many problems emerged in the process from various kinds of sentence forms.logistic patterns,cultural diverg,ence,etc.what's more.the practice report demonstrates the problems and solutions.The simulated practice report is designed to make a comparison from different aspects in the process of interpretation.come up with some effective skills in three aspects:1)sentence structures;2)logic forms and essence;3)interpretation of Chinese idioms,and accumulate experience for future practice.Meanwhile,the author has gained a more profound understanding and experience in these respects:1)there are multiple factors affecting language accuracy.fluency and complexity and the latter associates the author with evils in English teaching nowadays;2)translation and interpreting is a thinking activity striving for the equality of logic essence,rather than that of logic forms:3)in the aspect of long and short tenn memory,the author still has a long way to go in expanding reading horizon,forming long term memory by enlarging and strengthening short term memory.
