Xueshiyu's Study On "Fujika Museum Words"

Xue Shiyu was an important poet during the reign of Guangxu in Xianfeng,with two anthology of poems,West Lake Rolling Sing and Rolling Sound of Boat on the River,containing two carving copys of Tongzhi 5 years(1866)and Guangxu 5 years(1879),the latter of which is the deletion of the former.At present,the object of academic research is mainly his deleted edition,and the research is not comprehensive.Based on the study of Xue Shiyu's life,the content of her ci poems and artistic characteristics,the paper takes the unedited edition as the research object,sorts out the situation and style of his ci poems,and clarifies his position and influence in the field of ci poems in the Qing Dynasty.Chapter one gives a brief account of Xue Shiyu's life and the situation of edition.Xue Shiyu's life experience is relatively simple,and his poems mainly reflect his ten-year career as an official and one-year experience after his retirement and seclusion.During his ten years as an official,Xue Shiyu was determined to serve the country but could not change the social status quo,which laid the emotional tone of the works of pain and gloom.It is found that Xue Shiyu deleted half of the original poems and adjusted the words in the title and the poem through a comparative analysis of the two editions of the anthology Rolling Sound of Boat on the River,and the deleted edition is more artistic.The second chapter analyzes Xue's breakthrough and creation from the perspective of Ci context.Xue Shiyu's poems focus on four themes: feasting and singing,traveling scenery,emotions expressing for current events and love and women image.Among them,emotions of current events words are of special research value.Such words not only record the destruction on Nanjing from the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Movement,but also reflect the tragic reality of the sharp decrease of the rural population,the desolation of the countryside and the economic depression caused by the war,which can be called "Ci of Historic Significance".In addition,Xue Shiyu paid attention to the people at the bottom,especially reflected the tragic and painful life of ship prostitutes in the late Qing Dynasty,enriching the content of "ship prostitutes in Jiangshan" in thehistory of Qing Ci.The third chapter analyses the artistic features and aesthetic style and features of Xue's Ci.Xue's Ci takes the advantages of both Bold Faction and Grace Faction,forming a style of combining strength and softness.The style of works in Grace Faction are varied,showing bright and gorgeous,clear and sparse,sad and graceful.On the other hand,influenced by Su Shi and Xin Qiji,works in Bold Faction pursues frankness and sincerity,strong and vigorous writing and melancholy style.
