Zhang Zai,a master of Neo-Confucianism,has a profound influence on his work.However,in actual research,the academic circles tend to focus on the two materials,Zheng Meng and Jing Xue Li Ku.However,Zhang Zai's text is refined and his style is flexible.Therefore,the interpretation perspectives of his material is greatly influenced by researchers,and the interpretation dimensions are diverse.As a result,the current debate about the basic categories of Zhang Zai's Gongfu theory is still inconclusive.In the history of the Song Dynasty,Zhang Zai's theory was based on I-Ching,so can we promote the progress of Zhang Zai's Gongfu theory research through further research on his I-Ching materials?Does the basis of his roots based on his work theory and the basis of human nature can make a breakthrough in the study of Zhang Zai's I-Ching learning materials?Is there any Gongfu form in Zhang Zai's I-Ching materials that has not been valued by the academic circles?Therefore,this paper attempts to establish the root theory and human nature of the Gongfu theory by combing the materials of Zhang Zaiyi,and clarify the realm of the Gongfu theory,and explore the form of I-Ching in different states.Chapter 1 will firstly summarize the relationship between Tai Xu and the Qi,the core of Zhang Zai's thought of "source and root of space",by two classical ways which are called "ontology of Qi" and "ontology of Tai Xu".Then we will find the source of the relationship between Tai Xu and the Qi is the transformation and extension of "Tai Chi"through the study of Zhang Zai's I-Ching materials.Next,we turn our attention to "Xing He Liang",the of Zhang Zai's human nature theory,which is interpreted by the roots of the theory of interpretation of the theory of human nature.The theory of human nature is interpreted as nature dualism by ontology of Qi;and the ontology of Tai Xu interpreted that Tai Xu is equal to nature.Once again,through the study of Zhang Zai's I-Ching materials,it is found that Zhang Zai's theory of human nature stems from the extension of the I-Ching category "Heaven and Earth".Therefore,Zhang Zai's theory of human nature should be the one-dimensional dual structure.Chapter 2 establishes that there is only a difference in the state of the subject of cultivation,and there is no qualitative difference on the basis of Zhang Zai's theory of human nature.Then Gongfu process from beginning to end is divided into three realms,namely the realm of "Xue Zhe",the realm of "Da Ren" and the realm of Saints.The difference between the realm of "Xue Zhe" and the realm of "Da Ren" is the difference in the amount of knowledge of rite,which can be compensated by efforts;while the difference between the realm of "Da Ren" and the realm of Saints has a qualitative gap,which can only be overcome by Hua.Chapter 3 classifies and discusses the specific ways of Gongfu in Zhang Zai's I-Ching materials according to the gaps between the realms discussed in chapter 2.At the beginning,the subject of Gongfu is mainly about ritual training,ritual meaning(Qiong Li)and ritual practice.In the realm of "Da Ren",the mode of Gongfu is transformed into making theory rigorous,extensive practice and moral "Zhi".In the realm of Saints,there are only two forms of Gongfu that are both "Qiong Shen Zhi Hua" and "Zhi Li Cheng Xing".There are two elements running through the whole process of Zhang Zai's Gongfu theory,one is the knowledge expansion behavior that can be summarized as"Ming",and the later is to expand into "Inquiry and Study to Classics";the other is the self-extreme correction behavior that can be summarized as "Cheng",and later expanded to be "Honors Virtuous Nature".Among the whole process,the knowledge expansion behavior is more important in the realm of "Xue Zhe" to "Da Ren",and self-extreme correction behavior as an secondary;while the role of knowledge expansion behavior is gradually weakened and disappeared in the realm of "Da Ren" to"Saints",and the self-extreme correction behavior such as "Zhi" play the most important role then.The reason is that entering Saints realm cannot be achieved through hard working.
