Research On The Conceptual Reorganization Of Realistic Sculpture

Traditional realistic sculpture once occupied a dominant position until the concept art emerged,which has broken every artistic category boundaries and constantly subverted artists’ views on previous lofty authority cognitive perspectives.However,when "ready-made art" increasingly becomes sculptors’ creative materials,more novel sculpture innovative modes also emerges unceasingly.Subsequenly,traditional realistic sculpture has been impacted especially in art colleges as realistic sculpture works become fewer and fewer even once in sculpture creation "edge zone".Whereas,some sculptors who still insist on realistic sculpture create extension of sculpture creation through implanting concept art,and derive "conceptual sculpture" from realistic sculpture.Conceptual sculpture differs from pure concept art and modern sculpture in it neither pure idea nor individual realistic sculpture.It requires existence of objects and relies on them to convey writers’ ideas.To sum up,the appearance of conceptual sculpture gives life to traditional realistic sculpture so that realistic sculpture is no longer satisfied with "realism",making realistic sculpture more revolving in contemporary context.In addition,the outstanding part of continuation and development will give the appreciative opportunity for the public to beneficially ficilitate more people understand the charming treasure of realistic sculpture afresh and endow enormous possibilities with the rapid development of realistic sculpture.Exactly based on the creation of realistic sculpture this paper studies how to systematically reorganize the sculptors’ concept better into realistic sculpture and grant it with new missions.Instead of ttraditionally satisfying pure aesthetic requirements,it is used as a way of expressing ideas under contemporary context so that more people can understand artists’ intentions directly so as to make contemporary art more "pro-people".The article is demonstrated as following:Chapter 1.Firstly,it discusses concepts and development of concept art and realistic sculpture.Chapter 2.After discussing reform and opening up,China began to learn western modernism art focusing on discussing the impact of concept art on realistic sculpture under influence of concept art.Traditional realistic sculpture thinking mode cannot fully cater for artists’ concept expressions.In a word,traditional realistic sculpture thinking mode exists certain limitations that cannot adapt to contemporary artistic context appropriately.Meanwhile,the injection of "concept" makes realistic sculpture "conceptual sculpture".Conceptual sculpture combines concepts art and realistic sculpture products which conforms to contemporary art developmental needs properly.Chapter3.This paper mainly discusses conception reorganization mode in conceptual sculpture and explores how sculptors put ideas into works in realistic sculpture creation with concrete examples of view and prospect.Last Chapter.Combining own graduation creation.Ranging from conception creation,conceptual reorganization to creation,the paper is elaboratelt summarized mainly from three aspects in contemporary context.The idea of graduation creation and how to achieve the best effect of conceptual reorganization in works.
