Interpretation Of Realistic Sculpture 《Chasing The Dream》 From The Perspective Of Oriental Cultural Essence

Chinese modern sculpture art has undergone several stages of evolution,the cultural self-confidence that belongs to China and the Orient is increasingly revealed.The essence of Oriental Culture reflected in Contemporary Chinese Sculpture is absolutely not retro in terms of subject matter or technique,but the “thoughts of freedom,spirits of independence”endowed by the artist’s oriental vision and cultural self-confidence.This thesis demonstrates how the group sculpture《Chasing the dream》presents the essence of Oriental Culture in three levels:1.Expound the connotation of the essence of Oriental Culture,which is,the spiritual embodiment of the Oriental Culture and the Oritental personality based on Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism。2.Demonstrate the intrinsic connection between Chinese Contemporary Realistic sculpture and the essence of Oriental Culture.3.From the inspiration of creation,according to the creative concept,the creative character sources,the sculpture plastic artistic methods and the final artistic results presented etc.,with these multi angles,this part demonstrates,as a Realistic sculpture,how《Chasing the dream》sculpture group presents the essence of Oriental Culture and how it presents the contemporaneity of a Realistic sculpture.
