In the first half of the 19 th century, the Qing dynasty adopted strict "The Seclusion Policy" and "forbidden education" policies, making it difficult for early missionaries to work in China. In order to seek a breakthrough, they started to establish Chinese and English newspapers and magazines in China, trying to spread their religious teachings and conduct sermons through the press.Morrison and Mi Lian founded The Indo-Chinese Gleaner in May 1817.The journal is the first English newspaper published by Protestant Christians in China."India and India Search News" has extensively introduced China's economic conditions, political systems, historical books, ideological and cultural, social customs, historical figures and other encyclopedic information.Among them, the Han Journal Road occupies a large proportion. The journal opened the way for Christian Protestant missionaries in China to study Sinology through the press."India's search news" was published in the final edition of June 1822 for the death of Mimi.It was issued in three volumes and 20 issues. The Journal of Chinese in India published in the Search and Wise was an important window and channel for Western readers to understand Chinese customs,on the other hand,it was the embodiment of the exchange and collision between Eastern culture and Western culture centered on China at that time.At present, most of the academic circles' research on India,China, and India is focused on the overall study of the meaning and influence of this newspaper in the cultural exchanges between China and the West. This article focuses on the micro level and analyzes the texts of the Han Dynasty Journal of India and China.Descriptive and exploratory research was carried out to analyze and summarize the strategies of the Han Journal.Due to the great differences between Chinese and Western cultures,in order to comply with the information needs of target readers in cross-cultural communication and to avoid deviations in understanding caused by differences in language and culture,Morrison and Mi Lian formed a set of reporting strategies in the writing of Han Journalism. These reporting strategies are reflected in three aspects: text content, text structure, and text language. These reporting strategies also have an impact on the subsequent press activities and the spread of sinology.Basedon this, this article combines the related theories of journalism, communication and pragmatics, and consists of five chapters to describe and analyze. This article will first introduce the background of the publication of "India and India Search",and then introduce the contents and columns of Chinese Journal of Chinese in India.Secondly, the typical and detailed examples of the Han Journalism are described from the three aspects of text content, text structure, and text language. At the level of textual content,Morrison and Mi Lian insisted on the richness and diversity of material selection in the content selection of the text, covering various aspects of Chinese society and insisting that the content of the report is both practical, interesting and singular;in the structure of the text At the level,we use the parallel structure and the progressive text structure. At the same time,we adopt the writing techniques of narration and discussion and the expressions of Chinese and Western comparative reviews. At the textual level,we adopt horses with proper nouns, names, and place names with Chinese characteristics.Li Xun's "Cantonese Phonetic + Paraphrase Method",in the choice of sentence patterns,Morrison and Mi Lian take simple and easy-to-understand sentences, and finally summarizes the influence of the Han Dynasty Journalism Strategy on the press activities and the spread of Sinology.
