As a forest by-product,wild fruit is close to people’s life. There is a wide consumer market, but the wild fruits sold in the domestic market are mostly in the form of native products, crude packaging, brand confusion, lack of aesthetic and cultural sense. As a matter of fact, there are not a few farmers and forest by-products in China who have good taste and quality. However, due to the low level of product promotion and brand awareness, there are no obvious regional characteristics.Nor does it explain the story behind the product and the culture it carries, losing the opportunity to appreciate its products. The packaging of native products is the language and product of the content of the product. The externalization of product culture,as a wide communication medium, enables more people to know and understand the humanistic spirit of a region. As a result, specialty packaging should highlight the taste of "earth",so as to have folk characteristics. This design is based on the Songshan area, taking "the wood Shang" as the brand, combining with the folk culture of the Central Plains to create a byproduct packaging design of Songshan wild fruit forest with folk characteristics.Through the investigation of Songshan area and the deep study of the woodcut New year paintings of Zhu Xianzhen, the folk art of the Central Plains, the aesthetic modeling and visual consciousness of the folk art in the Central Plains are extracted and absorbed, and applied to the packaging through the arrangement and reconstruction.Create a strong Central Plains characteristics of packaging. The purpose of this design is to add regional symbols and cultural elements to the packaging design of wild fruit in Songshan to produce added value of commodities so as to achieve the effect of propagating the culture of the Central Plains.
