The Fall In The Possessed

Dostoevsky's The Possessed is a work of thinking about how to make choice when human beings are in the face of the evil and fall.It describes a group of young people who lost their faith fall to death because of their powerful personality and endless desire toward freedom.The Possessed writes about the features of fall including of the passion for the violent revolution,losing control of their own desire,and the imbalance of faith.In addition,Dostoevsky artistried the fall through the aestheticization of fall and the way of carnivalization.In the end,the writer tries to find the way of redemption and enlightenment behind the fall.
