A Comparative Study On The Current Situation Of Chinese And French Teaching In Universities In Northeastern Thailand

The objects of this study are Khon Kaen University and Mahasarakham University in northeastern Thailand.First of all,this thesis reviews the diachronic development of Chinese and French teaching in Thai universities.Secondly,a detailed analysis of the current situation of Chinese and French teaching at Khon Kaen University and Mahasarakham University in the northeastern Thailand was conducted through teacher interviews,student questionnaires,and visit observations,which involved teaching conditions,student conditions and teacher conditions.On this basis,the factors affecting the development of Chinese and French teaching in universities in northeastern Thailand are derived,mainly including the teaching conditions,the level of learners,and the resources of teachers.Finally,through the research above,the following suggestions are proposed: improvement of curriculum plans,development of teaching materials,improvement of teaching facilities,development of teaching resources,balance of students' quality,improvement of graduation standards,promotion of teachers' resources,enrichment of assessment methods,etc,to promote the development of teaching Chinese in northeastern Thailand universities.
