Under such the great background that China’s economy is developing rapidly andrises in status across the world, Chinese language and culture are more and morepopular for the whole world, there are more and more Chinese language volunteerteachers who teach Chinese language abroad, there are such challenges that Chineselanguage teaching promotion across the world has to face with, including how toadapt to overseas teaching environment in a better way and how to improve thequality of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, and make international friends likeChinese language and culture more and more. This paper has conducted the researchon88Chinese language volunteer teachers working at Thailand higher educationschools by taking Chinese language volunteer teachers who went to Thailand in2012as the research objects and adopting such methods as questionnaire and interview, soas to see the teaching adaptive conditions of such group, and find relevant reasonsdeeply, put forward strategies for improving teaching adaptive capacities, in addition,this paper hopes to provide references and models for more Chinese languagevolunteer teachers in Thailand in future through the research on their teachingconditions.Chapter I describe the sources of the topic selected for this paper, researchsignificance and research status.Chapter II describes the research process of this paper, including research objects,research methods, research content and data statistics on the research results.Chapter III analyzes and concludes the teaching adaptive conditions of thevolunteers, finds out factors impacting the teaching adaptive conditions and concludesthe negative impacts brought by the poor teaching adaptive capacity.Chapter IV concludes the reasons for the poor teaching adaptive capacity, whichhas been described from the subjective perspective and the objective perspective.Chapter V puts forward reasonable strategies for improving teaching adaptiveconditions of the volunteers based on the aforesaid content. Chapter VI discusses the research results and inadequacies of this paper.
