Analysis Of The Issue Of Personal Information Ethic In The Era Of Big Data

With the wide application of cloud computing and Internet of Things,more and moresensors and mobile terminals are connected to the network and the data grows faster and faster,it means the era of big has arrived.The data constitutes a new information world outside the physical world and the spiritual world.In addition,data has become a new resource.It has become the focus in all areas of society to capturing and using big data for finding new lifestyle,governance mechanism and economic development pattern.However,the ubiquity of ethical issues shows that it is necessary to protect personal information,such as misappropriation of information,fraud information,and so on.Starting from the perspective of reviewing the current research status at home and abroad,the paper describes the research objects and features through the definition and classification of personal information in the era of big data.From the four information activities of information gathering,information handling,information dissemination and information utilization,the article analyzes the ethical issues of personal information in the era of big data.It has discoursed various and complex ethical issues in each process and the realistic difficulties faced in solving these issues which has include the contradiction between upgrade service and information protection and the conflict between public benefit and personal information.On this basis,this paper analyzes the causes of personal information ethics issues.Big data itself is flawed so that we cannot blindly believe it.We must rationally use big data according to the actual situation.Through the analysis of the ethical issues of personal information in the era of big data,the article finally proposes the principles and strategies for response.The coping principles are humanistic,respect and harmless.The coping strategies are divided into four aspects.First of all,from the personal point of view the information subject should improve moral autonomy and strengthen personal information protection awareness.What’s more,it is significant for companies strengthen self-discipline.Furthermore,the public should strengthen information ethics education which focus on the core theory of responsibility and participate in the interaction between technology and society actively.Lastly,the government should improve the laws related to information protection and encourage the research and innovation of personal information security technology.It is also necessary to establish third-party organizations for protecting personal information.We expect to balance the big data innovation and personal information protection through the reconstruction of personal information ethics in the era of big data,so that to achieve long-term healthy development of big data and bring benefits to humanity.
