Existential sentences represent the presence,appearance,or disappearance of someone or something at a certain time or place.Its typical structure is "place noun + verb + thing noun." It is a very special sentence pattern in Chinese and is a basic grammar item in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.This article reviews the research history of existential sentences by referring to related literature.At the same time,it also identify domestic and foreign teaching design research and teaching design research of existing sentences,and clarifies the domestic and foreign existential sentences,teaching design,and existential sentence teaching design.The general research direction and field of research.Because of the great controversy in theoretical research of existential sentences and instructional design,this paper combs the controversy of the ontological theory of existential sentences,and confirms that the verbs “zai”,prepositional phrases,and time nouns have the role of acting as the subject of existential sentences.Predicate ability.In the end,the paper classifies existing sentences from two aspects of structure and grammar.This helps teachers engaged in teaching Chinese as a foreign language to theoretically sort out the scope and classification of existential sentences so as to better guide students’ learning in teaching.At the same time,this article further clarifies the need,content,strategy and how to evaluate the teaching outcomes of the existential sentence teaching design.The theoretical basis for the study of the existential sentence teaching design using these theories will be more substantial.This article also selects the grammatical item “Location + V + zhe + N” in the second comprehensive course of “Developing Chinese” Elementary Comprehensive II.It has a teaching design and displays the existential sentence teaching design in concrete cases.the process of.Finally,the author put forward some suggestions on the teaching of existential sentences,such as: from easy to difficult,staged teaching,and grammar items with spiral arrangement of existing sentences.Through research,we have found that when designing teaching of existential sentences,we must pay attention to its theoretical ontology as well as the general principles of teaching Chinese as a second language,follow the spiral arrangement of teaching materials,rely on students’ recent development areas,and gradually from the easy-to-difficult teaching methods,the training of exquisite lectures and practice-oriented skills is the ultimate goal of instructional design.
