Study On The Tsinghua Bamboo Slips "Yue Gong Qi Shi"

The ancient books of the world record the history of Wu and Yue dispersed in “Zuozhuan”,“Guoyu”,“Shiji” and so on,where there are much existence of mutual contradiction phenomenon.It is difficult to study on the history of Wu and Yue.Tsinghua Bamboo Slips “Yue Gong qi shi” is published recently,that records the history of Wu and Yue different from many books of the previous,benefiting our study on the history of Wu and Yue.This paper adopts the research method of comprehensive comparison to Compare of the differences between “Yue Gong qi shi” and the ancient books of the world,in ordering to find out its nature of literature.This article is composed of four parts.The first part collects the research results of the predecessors,collecting explanations of“Yue Gong qi shi”.The second part is about a comparative study of the text of the three question,that who launched the war,the reason why Wu made peace and whether Goujian being a slave to Fuchai.The thirdly part is exploring the text of the policy of strong power through“Wuzheng(五政)”.The last part is aimed at exploring the literature nature of“Yue Gong qi shi”through the analysis of language,words and ideological tendencies.In a word,the original manuscript of the Tsinghua Bamboo Slips “Yue Gong qi shi”may come from the national history system of Yue,according to the version on the relevant historical records.With the decline of Yue,it was brought into the state of Chu as war trophies,revising,copying and spreading by the people of Chu.
