The Integration And Research On Guan Zhong Of Tsinghua Bamboo Slips

Tsinghua Bamboo Slips Guan Zhong is an unearthed document in the report book of tsinghua university,which expounds the governance of Guan Zi.There are more than 1200 words in the whole article and 30 pieces of bamboo slips,each of which is 44.5 centimeters long,0.6 centimeters wide and has no serial number on the back.These bamboo slips are woven in three lines and generally well preserved.However,the lower half of the 28 th bamboo slips and the upper half of the 29 th bamboo slips are missing.Whether there should be missing bamboo slips between the two remains to be seen.There was no title to the article.As the bamboo slips are composed of the questions and answers of Duke Huan and Guan Zhong of the state of qi,the rectification was named after Guan Zhong.At present,most of the researches on this paper focus on the textual scribe and interpretation,while other research results only appear sporadically.This article,taking new materials from the unearthed literature as the research object,introducing the ancient documents of the qin dynasty as an comparative object to the reading,using a variety of research methods with "double Evidence Act" as the core,starting from the previously unexplored ideological and literary perspectives,explores the ideological and literary values,striving to stand at the forefront of academic research and realize the integration of interdisciplinary and interdisciplinary knowledge.The first chapter analyzes the text itself.First,this paper notes and traslates Guan Zhong of Tsinghua Bamboo Slips.Second,using "double Evidence Act","Tabulation Method" and "Statistics Act",the Guan Zhong of Tsinghua Bamboo Slips were compared with the transmitted documents Guan Zi as well as other related literature of pre-qin dynasty to explore the similarities in content and thought:According to the analysis of the number of quoted statements,nearly one-third of the sentences in Guan Zhong are similar to those in the unearthed literature of pre-qin dynasty.But more significantly,nearly two-thirds of the content may be original,the research value of which is undoubtedly even greater.It has not only brings newmaterials for the study of the transmitted documents Guan Zi and the person Guan Zhong as well as introduces a new object for comparative study,but alsoIt also points out that the future research focus and the main direction of this article is to explore and understand its thoughts and contents.According to the analysis of the cited bibliography,the transmitted documents Guan Zi has become the most similar document to Guan Zhong of Tsinghua Bamboo Slips,in which there are more than 10 articles involved,and almost all of them are related to the thoughts of governing the state and government of Guan Zhong and the view of emperor and minister,which further corroborates the ideology and philosophy of Guan Zhong and provides more detailed and conclusive evidence for the conclusion that Guan Zhong should be a lost work of the ancient literature Guan Zi.In addition,Guan Zhong is similar to Hong Fan,an article from the Confucian classic Shang Shu,which brings a new opportunity for the completion of the dating judgment of Guan Zhong and the comparative study of the two.From the perspective of ideological factions,Guan Zhong and Guan Zi have the same ideological origin,which is also in line with the characteristics of "miscellaneous scholars",compatible and inclusive,and absorbs the thoughts of many schools of thought.Among them,the most prominent manifestation is the thought of Ji Xia School which appears the most in the comparison results.The second and third chapters delve into the text to study and discuss the ideological value and literary value of it.In terms of ideological values,the intellectual achievements of "Guan Zhong" of Tsinghua Bamboo Slips in different ways were found out,such as talent concept,monarch-subject relationship and so on.As for the talent concept,the article of Guan Zhong brings up two valuable thoughts of personnel appointments: "the foundation of ministers is sovereign" and "the root of national state affairs is talent".About the monarch-subject relationship,the Guan Zhong maintains that the king and the ministers should have the same faith and perform their own functions.In addition,it requires the king to be wise and the ministers to be loyal.At the same time,when it comes to the question "who is more tired",it puts forward a creative viewpoint that the king is more tired and the ministers are more comfortable.It holds that themonarch have a overworked heart;which innovatively contrasts with the idea "the ministers are more tired and the king is more comfortable" advocated in many famous pre-Qin documents.In terms of literary value,the literature achievements of Guan Zhong of Tsinghua Bamboo Slips in different ways were found out,such as structural art,argument art,language art and so on.As for the construction of the text,the article of Guan Zhong is divided into three parts,which states "the ways of talent selection","the ways to govern the country" and "the ways to be a wise ruler".Meanwhile,this document regards the first paragraph as the clue of it and develops the whole text in logical order,which constitute a structured and informative Q&A prose.About the argumentation,it uses the dialogue to discuss and maintains high standard of proof.Furthermore,the Guan Zhong of Tsinghua Bamboo Slips comes up with its views by questions of Duke Huan of Qi and utilizes many different methods to demonstrate these views such as analogous argumentation,example argumentation and so on,which increases the reada-bility and interest of the article,enhances the intensity of reasoning in the article;Meanwhile,although this article has s great similarity with Si Cheng of the transmitted documents Guan Zi in content and literary form,compared with Si Cheng of the transmitted documents Guan Zi,which used the single argumentation method and unitary narrative sturcture,Guan Zhong used several ones,such as example argumentation,contrastive demonstration and so on as well as different forms.Therefore,Guan Zhong has more literature characteristics and value than Si Cheng of Guan Zi.In the aspect of language art,the literary features of Guan Zhong are obvious.And its language also shows distinct literary characteristics,mainly in rhetoric,sentence patterns and other aspects.Guan Zhong's speech is concise and full of connotation.In the way of expression,this article uses the rhetoric techniques with distinctive literary and artistic features such as symbolism and intertextuality and the sentence structures of parallelism and cross-examination are adopted.Meanwhile,Guan Zhong combines repetition with rhyme to enhance the formal beauty of language,which makes the argument-based political prose more colorful and profound.
