The Studies On Some Issues Of Human Geography In Naiman Banner In Qing Dynasty

Abstract/Summary:
In recent years,many achievements have been made in the studies of human geography on the Mongolian plateau,and many works related to human geography in Inner Mongolia have been published one after another.The research on human geography in Naiman banner is an integral part of the research field of human geography and ethnic history and geography in China’s border areas.However,there are few writings to study Naiman banner’s humanities and geography in depth.Therefore,it is particularly valuable to studies this topic.Taking the human geography of Naiman banner as the research object,the article makes extensive use of documents and materials such as archives of Naiman banner in Qing dynasty,nomadic map of Naiman banner in Qing dynasty,historical history books compiled in Qing dynasty,local history and so on,and makes a comprehensive,systematic and objective discussion and textual research on the compilation,administrative changes,zaak hereditary,population,boundary,reclamation,mountains and rivers,temples,scenic spots and historical sites,etc.of Naiman banner.The article consists of preface,body and conclusion.The preface includes the significance of the topic,previous studies,basic historical materials,research methods,innovation and so on.The body consists of three chapters.The first chapter is “ the compilation and administrative changes of Naiman banner”.Firstly,the origin and administrative changes of Naiman banner are briefly described.Secondly,it summarizes the hereditary and population changes of the Naiman Banner of the Qing Dynasty.The second chapter is “The Changes of the Naiman Banner.” First,the boundary of the Naiman Banner was discussed through the documents of the Qing Dynasty and the “Mongolian Map of Nomads”.Secondly,the boundary between Naiman banner and its adjacent banner is summarized by using some Qing dynasty archives and Mongolian nomadic map.Especially,the Naiman banner in the Qing dynasty was used to verify the boundaries between the Naiman banner and the Khalkhabel banner.The third chapter is “The Geography of Mountains and Rivers and Others in Naiman Banner”.This chapter separately describes the mountains and rivers,temples,scenic spots and historical sites in the Naiman Banner.The conclusion summarizes the full text.
