Take The Packaging Design As An Example From "westernized Chinese Style"

The development of packaging design has a long history in china.Chinese traditional thought left a lasting impact on the development of packaging design.With the gradual fusion of western culture,the development of packaging design is evolving in China.The permeation of Western art and culture was struck by traditional Confucianism and Taoism in a large part,but it played an important role in promoting the whole development of packaging design in China.The development of "Westernized Chinese style" is divided into four stages.Under the influence of " Westernized Chinese style " thought,the development of packaging design has been constantly evolved from the end of the Qing Dynasty to the reform and opening up,,which made China’s packaging design fly over.With the diversified development of modern social,the development of packaging design also presented a trend of diversified development,which put forward higher requirements for the development of "Westernized Chinese style" thought.All of these asked us to have a clear understanding to the development of "Westernized Chinese style" thought.We could not only understand the processing of "Westernized Chinese style",but also could played a role in the various stages of packaging design,so as to better guide the packaging design activities with the thought of "Westernized Chinese style".The thought of "Westernized Chinese style" played an important role for hundreds of years in the development of packaging design,which made the development of packaging design from closing the country in the late Qing Dynasty to the modern reform and opening to the open and inclusive,and the packaging design has gained more new spaces for development in modern times.With the development of information technology in modern society,people are no longer satisfied with the functional requirements of packaging design,but paid more attention on the cultural and spiritual needs of the packaging design.This asked us to reflect on the contemporary packaging design.How to spread and transmit the thought of "Westernized Chinese style" ? How to express the essence of Chinese traditional culture by means of western artistic expression and style and how to make China’s packaging design better inherit Chinese traditional culture values? All of these requirements became an important question to reflect on the contemporary packaging design.This article mainly took the influence and thinking of packaging design as the main line of study,which is divided into five parts.The first part was the introduction,which mainly focused on the trend of contemporary Chinese packaging design.The author discussed the background,purpose and significance of the research and the overseas and domestic research status,and concluded the research methods and corresponding research framework.The second part was the suggestion and summary of the thought of "Westernized Chinese style".It mainly analyzed the development of "Westernized Chinese style" thought,total westernization thought and the classical thought.The author concluded the necessity of inheriting the thought of "Westernized Chinese style",and focused on the analysis of function of packaging design in the end of the Qing Dynasty from the thought of "Westernized Chinese style".The third part was the development and influence of the thought of "Westernized Chinese style" on packaging design in the three historical periods of China.This part mainly analyzed the influence of "Westernized Chinese style" thought in the period of the Republic of China,the special period of the founding of new China and the maturity and innovation of the reform and opening up,and summed up the influence of the contemporary packaging design according to the thought of "Westernized Chinese style".The fourth part was to discuss the value and significance of contemporary packaging design from the thought of "Westernized Chinese style",analyzed the enlightenment and inheritance of the contemporary packaging design under the thought of "Westernized Chinese style",and summed up the evolvement from the value orientation of "Westernized Chinese style" to the contemporary value of packaging design.Finally,it was a conclusion,which was a summary of this article.
