In history,the Mongolian nationality in China is mainly engaged in animal husbandry production,and the Han nationality mainly depends on agricultural economy.The languages spoken by the two nations belongs to the Altaic Family and Sino Tibetan languages,which one belongs to adhesive type language and the other belongs to the root language.They are all the carrier of national culture.The most important function of the vehicle is preserving and inheriting the culture by words and the structure of words.And the “horse culture” is shown by a series of words and phrases.The contrastive study of “horse” words group is a importantchannel to understand the thinking associative mode,national psychological characteristics and cultural concept of the two nations.The full text includes a summary of the body of four chapters and conclusion.The introduction mainly consists of the significance and background of the selected topic,a summary account of the research at home and abroad,thinking and attention of the research,the theory of this paper.The first chapter discusses the definition?original meaning and extended meaning and grammatical function of “horse” words group.The second chapter is the key chapter of this paper.This paper tries to make a comparative study of words structure and semantic of “horse” words group.We divide and classify these words,then we observe the historical changes,the features of these changes and discuss the growth and decay reason of “horse” word quantity.The third chapter is mainly making a contrastive study of metaphorical research of “horse” idioms between Mongolian and Chinese from the perspective of language culturology.The last part,we make a conclusion of this paper.This part briefly shows the progress of this research and achievement of the paper,and point out the disadvantages.Using “horse” as a metaphor is a symbol of the lofty spirit.It is also flowing in the blood of the Chinese nation and becoming the inner impulse of the bravely forged ahead.It is deeply rooted in the languages of Monglian and Chinese which has told generations after generations.It inspires and encourages people who pursue for the happiness life in the end.
